Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak recognized for clinical excellence

Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak recently received:

  • recertification as a primary stroke center by the Joint Commission, recognizing the hospital's stroke care program for following national standards and guidelines that can significantly improve outcomes for stroke patients
  • certification as a chest pain center by the American Society of Chest Pain Centers, acknowledging the hospital's ability to quickly diagnose heart problems, begin treatment promptly and significantly improve patient outcomes
  • re-designation of Magnet status by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizing sustained nursing excellence.

"These honors recognize our ongoing commitment to provide outstanding care to our community," says John Labriola, senior vice president and hospital director at the Royal Oak hospital.
